     He was educated at St. Peter’s School, York, Yorkshire, England.³ He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Lecturer and Administration Assistant in 1930 at Hull University, Hull, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Ecole des Roches, France.³ He was with the Foreign Office in 1939.¹ He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Sevenoaks between 1950 and 1976.¹ He was deputy chairman of J Walter Thompson in 1960.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Rodgers, of Groombridge, co. Kent [U.K.] on 29 June 1964.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent in 1973.¹

     Francis William Aikin-Sneath was born in 1866 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He married Louisa Langworthy Baker in 1898 at Lewisham, Kent, England.²

     Betsy Aikin-Sneath was born on 29 August 1907 at Paignton, Devon, England.² She was the daughter of Francis William Aikin-Sneath and Louisa Langworthy Baker.^3,2 She married Sir John Charles Rodgers, 1st Bt., son of Charles Rodgers and Maud Mary Hodgson, on 23 December 1930.¹ She died between May 1998 and June 1998 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.²
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ From 23 December 1930, her married name became Rodgers. She graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹

     Sir John Fairlie Tobias Rodgers, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 July 1940.¹ He was the son of Sir John Charles Rodgers, 1st Bt. and Betsy Aikin-Sneath.² He died on 19 January 1997 at age 56, unmarried.¹

     John George Brydges Rodney, 11th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke was born on 5 July 1999.¹ He is the son of George Brydges Rodney, 10th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke and Jane Blakeney.²
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Rodney [G.B., 1764] on 13 February 2011. He succeeded as the 11th Baron Rodney of Rodney Stoke, co. Somerset [G.B., 1782] on 13 February 2011.
