     From 25 April 1889, her married name became Dick.¹

     Frances Soltau was born on 26 February 1862 at Plymouth, Devon, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.¹ She married Charles Bewes, son of Charles Theodore Bewes and Elizabeth Soltau, in 1883.¹ She died on 24 September 1927 at age 65.¹
     From 1883, her married name became Bewes.¹

     John Frederick Soltau was born on 17 October 1863 at Ridgeway Lodge, England.¹ He was the son of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.¹ He died on 30 December 1885 at age 22 at Ginnis, Sudan, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Subaltern in the Royal Berkshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1885.¹

     George William Soltau was born on 1 May 1865.¹ He was the son of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.¹ He married Olive Katharine Hunt-Grubbe in 1894.² He died on 21 May 1937 at age 72.¹

     Constance Mary Soltau was born on 6 November 1866.¹ She was the daughter of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.¹ She married, firstly, William Wadham in 1889.² She married, secondly, Anstis George Bewes in 1899.² She died on 29 January 1948 at age 81 at Paignton, Devon, England.^1,2
     From 1889, her married name became Wadham.²

     Henry Vincent Soltau was born on 18 August 1868.¹ He was the son of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.¹ He married Frances Margaret Eliza Jessop on 1 June 1899 at St. Jude, Kensington, London, England.² He died on 28 November 1927 at age 59.¹

     Beatrice Elizabeth Culme Soltau was born on 21 November 1871.¹ She was the daughter of John Thomas Soltau and Florence Clark.¹ She married Edmund Graham Snow in 1892.² She died on 10 April 1899 at age 27.¹
     From 1892, her married name became Snow.²

     Andrew Lambie was born circa 1840 at Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹ He married Annie (?)¹
     He lived at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

     Edmund Francis Lopes was born on 19 October 1833.¹ He was the son of Sir Ralph Lopes, 2nd Bt. and Susan Gibbs Ludlow.² He died on 28 February 1867 at age 33.¹

     George Ludlow Lopes was born on 31 July 1836.¹ He was the son of Sir Ralph Lopes, 2nd Bt. and Susan Gibbs Ludlow.² He married Georgina Emma de Arroyave, daughter of Anselmo de Arroyave, on 1 April 1871.¹ He died on 3 October 1909 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 16th Lancers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Northleigh, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.¹
