     Mariota MacIan is the daughter of Ian MacIan of Ardnamurchan.1 She married Robert Robertson, 11th of Struan, 7th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh, son of William Robertson, 10th of Struan, 6th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh, on 9 February 1544/45.1
     From 9 February 1544/45, her married name became Robertson.

     William Robertson, 12th of Struan, 8th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh was the son of Robert Robertson, 11th of Struan, 7th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh and Mariota MacIan.2 He died in 1587, murdered.1
     He held the position of 8th Chief of the Clan Donnachaidh from.1 On 10 November 1546 he was regranted Struan by the Crown.1

     Donald Robertson, 13th of Struan, 9th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh is the son of William Robertson, 12th of Struan, 8th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh.2 He married, firstly, Janet Stewart, daughter of Neil Stewart of Foss.1 He married, secondly, Beatrix Farquharson on 15 August 1587.3
     He held the position of 9th Chief of the Clan Donnachaidh from in 1587.1

     Robert Robertson, 14th of Struan, 10th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh is the son of Donald Robertson, 13th of Struan, 9th Chief of Clan Donnachaidh and Janet Stewart.2 He married Agnes Macdonald, daughter of Ranald ‘Bane’ Macdonald, 5th of Clanranald and Moidart and Catherine Mackintosh.2
     He held the position of 10th Chief of the Clan Donnachaidh from.1 On 14 January 1600 he received a charter of the lands of Kinloch, Muirlagen, and others, which were added to the Barony of Struan.1
