     Sir Walter Riddell of that Ilk, 10th Bt. was born on 8 August 1810 at Ramsgate, Kent, England.^1,2 He was the son of Sir John Buchanan Riddell of that Ilk, 9th Bt. and Lady Frances Marsham.³ He married Alicia Ripley, daughter of William Ripley, on 18 August 1859 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England.^1,2 He died on 27 August 1892 at age 82 at Henham Hall, Suffolk, England, without issue.^1,2
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Riddell, of Riddell, co. Roxburgh [N.S., 1628] in April 1819.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1831 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1834 entitled to practise as a barrister.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1834 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of Recorder of Maidstone between 1846 and 1868.¹ He held the office of Judge of the County Courts of North Staffordshire between 1859 and 1862.² He held the office of Judge of the Whitechapel County Courts between 1863 and 1879.¹

     William Ripley gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 52nd Light Infantry.¹

     Alicia Ripley was the daughter of William Ripley.² She married Sir Walter Riddell of that Ilk, 10th Bt., son of Sir John Buchanan Riddell of that Ilk, 9th Bt. and Lady Frances Marsham, on 18 August 1859 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England.^1,3 She died on 28 October 1912.¹
     From 18 August 1859, her married name became Riddell.

     Madeline de Beavois de Havilland was born in 1875 at Southsea, Hampshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. James de Havilland and Caroline Rainier Jones.¹ She died in 1959, unmarried.¹

     Emma Louise Smith-Bosanquet was born on 25 March 1961.¹ She is the daughter of George Andrew James Smith-Bosanquet and Angela Margery Moore.¹

     Gertrude Mary Fox was born in 1854 at Delamere, Cheshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of William Darwin Fox and Ellen Sophia Woodd.¹ She married Frederick Charles Tindal Bosanquet, son of James Whatman Bosanquet and Merelina Symonds Tindal.²
     Her married name became Bosanquet.²

     Frederick William Fox was born in 1856 at Delamere, Cheshire, England.¹ He was the son of William Darwin Fox and Ellen Sophia Woodd.¹ He married Rebecca Watson, daughter of John Watson and Sarah (?), in 1888 at Hampstead, London, England.¹

     Edith Darwin Fox was born in 1857 at Delamere, Cheshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of William Darwin Fox and Ellen Sophia Woodd.¹
