     Benjamin Moseley was born on 1 March 1746.¹ He was the son of Edward Moseley.² He married Martha Clare on 9 January 1768.¹ He died on 25 September 1819 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Ensign in the 79th Regiment.¹ He was member of the American Philosophical Society in 1775.¹ He held the office of Surgeon-General [Jamaica] in 1775.¹ He was Magistrate and Assistant Judge of St. Andrew’s Parish, Jamaica.¹
He wrote the book Treatise Upon Coffee, published 1785.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1787.¹ He wrote the book Tropical Diseases, Military Operations, and the Climate of the West Indies, published 1788.¹ He was Physician to the Duke of York in 1788.¹ He was Physician in 1789 at Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London, England.¹ He was Physician to the Duke of Clrance in 1789.¹ He graduated from Leyden University, Leyden, The Netherlands^G, in 1791 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He wrote the book Treatise on Sugar, published 1799.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex in 1814.¹

     Martha Clare married Benjamin Moseley, son of Edward Moseley, on 9 January 1768.¹
     She lived at Merton, Surrey, England.¹ Her married name became Moseley.

     William Henry Moseley was the son of Benjamin Moseley and Martha Clare.² He died in 1823, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He lived at Yeoman’s Row, London, England.¹ He was Physician to the Forces in 1805.¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1805 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Henry Crewe Moseley was the son of Benjamin Moseley and Martha Clare.² He died, aged 16.¹

     Martha Elizabeth Moseley was born circa 1775.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Moseley and Martha Clare.² She died in 1847, unmarried.¹

     Dr. Moseley Moseley was the son of Edward Moseley.² He died on 25 September 1819, also an illegitimate daughter.¹

     Benjamin Moseley was the son of Samuel Moseley.² He died on 3 September 1651, killed in action.¹
     He was Quartermaster-General, Parliamentary Army, Civil War.¹ On 3 September 1651 Battle of Worcester.¹

     Francis Moseley is the son of Oswald Moseley and unknown Gerrard.²

     Francis Moseley is the son of Francis Moseley.² He married Ellen Lancashire, daughter of James Lancashire, in 1643.¹
