     Major Thomas Palmer was born on 8 December 1832.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Palmer and Elizabeth Heyrick.² He married Harriet Elizabeth Dawson, daughter of Edward Dawson, on 20 September 1860.¹ He died on 15 April 1929 at age 96.¹
     He gained the rank of Honorary Major and Adjutant in the East Riding Volunteers Hull.¹ He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 47th Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Crimean Medal and Clasps.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.¹

     Edward Dawson lived at Launde Abbey, Leicestershire, England.¹ He lived at Whatton, England.¹

     Harriet Elizabeth Dawson was the daughter of Edward Dawson.² She married Major Thomas Palmer, son of Reverend Henry Palmer and Elizabeth Heyrick, on 20 September 1860.¹ She died on 24 January 1912, without issue.¹
     From 20 September 1860, her married name became Palmer.¹

     Marjory Bruce was born in 1573 at Crail, Fife, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Laurence Bruce and Elizabeth Gray.¹

     Henry Wilson Sharpin was born on 31 October 1828 at Kirkee, Bombay, India.² He was the son of Henry Sharpin and Mary Davies.² He married, firstly, Edith Esther Nicolle, daughter of John Nicolle and Edith Elizabeth Noble, on 1 January 1856 at St. Paul’s Church, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.² He married, secondly, Jane Haxby, daughter of Samuel Henry Haxby and Maria Hind, on 10 January 1903 at Christ Church, East Sheen, London, England.² He died on 17 April 1908 at age 79 at 34 Sillwood Road, Brighton, Sussex, England.²
     He lived at Brighton, Sussex, England.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹

     Eleanor Annie Sharpin was born in 1868.² She was the daughter of Henry Wilson Sharpin and Edith Esther Nicolle.^3,2 She married Major Frederick Charles Palmer, son of Major Herrick Augustus Palmer and Dorothy Susan Hazlerigg, on 15 September 1897.¹ She died on 28 December 1941.¹
     From 15 September 1897, her married name became Palmer.¹
