Sir Geoffrey Palmer, 1st Bt.1 
Sir Geoffrey Palmer, 1st Bt. was born in 1598.1 He was the son of Thomas Palmer and Catherine Watson.3 He married Margaret Moore, daughter of Sir Francis Moore, in 1625.1 He died on 5 May 1670.1
They also had other issue.1 He was the Royalist Commissioner of Uxbridge negotiations towards the end of the Civil War in 1645.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stamford between 1649 and 1652.1 He was the Attorney-General between 1660 and 1670.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor.1 He was created 1st Baronet Palmer, of Carlton, Co. Northampton [E., 1660] on 7 June 1660.1 He was Chief of Justice in 1661/62 at Chester, Cheshire, England.1 He lived at Carlton, Northamptonshire, England.1
