     From 30 May 1968, her married name became Leigh-Pemberton.²

     Richard Ames Leigh-Pemberton was born on 13 December 1971.¹ He is the son of Jeremy Leigh-Pemberton and Mary Ames.

     Hon. Virginia Brand was born on 31 August 1918.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Henry Brand, 1st and last Baron Brand and Phyllis Langhorne.¹ She married, firstly, John Metcalfe Polk, son of Frank Polk, on 9 December 1939.¹ She married, secondly, Brigadier Sir Edward William Spencer Ford, son of Very Rev. Lionel George Bridges Justice Ford and Mary Catherine Talbot, on 1 December 1949.¹ She died in 1995.²
     From 9 December 1939, her married name became Polk. From 1 December 1949, her married name became Ford.

     John Metcalfe Polk was the son of Frank Polk.² He married Hon. Virginia Brand, daughter of Robert Henry Brand, 1st and last Baron Brand and Phyllis Langhorne, on 9 December 1939.¹ He died on 12 January 1948.¹

     Brigadier Sir Edward William Spencer Ford was born on 24 July 1910. He was the son of Very Rev. Lionel George Bridges Justice Ford and Mary Catherine Talbot.¹ He married Hon. Virginia Brand, daughter of Robert Henry Brand, 1st and last Baron Brand and Phyllis Langhorne, on 1 December 1949.³ He died on 19 November 2006 at age 96.⁴
     He was awarded the Emergency Reserve Decoration (E.R.D.)⁵ He held the office of Assistant Private Secretary to King George VI between 1946 and 1952.⁶ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1949.⁷ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1952.⁷ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1957.⁷ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1967.⁶ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1998.⁶

     Hon. Dinah Brand was born on 8 September 1920.¹ She is the daughter of Robert Henry Brand, 1st and last Baron Brand and Phyllis Langhorne.¹ She married, firstly, Commander Lyttleton Fox, son of Lyttleton Fox, on 6 March 1943.¹ She and Commander Lyttleton Fox were divorced in 1950.¹ She married, secondly, Christopher Charles Cyprian Bridge, son of Brigadier Charles Edward Dunscombe Bridge, on 21 September 1953.¹
     From 6 March 1943, her married name became Fox. From 21 September 1953, her married name became Bridge.

     Christopher Charles Cyprian Bridge is the son of Brigadier Charles Edward Dunscombe Bridge.² He married, firstly, Hon. Dinah Brand, daughter of Robert Henry Brand, 1st and last Baron Brand and Phyllis Langhorne, on 21 September 1953.¹ He married, secondly, Philippa Ann Dunne, daughter of Philip Russell Rendel Dunne, before 1966.³

     Brigadier Charles Edward Dunscombe Bridge was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at Elmenteita, Kenya^G.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹

     Charles Robert Bridge was born on 11 January 1956.¹ He is the son of Christopher Charles Cyprian Bridge and Hon. Dinah Brand.¹ He married Arabella Jane Bradstock, daughter of David FitzHerbert Bradstock and Philippa Mary Wilson, on 20 December 1980.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Old Vicarage, Firle, Lewes, Sussex, England^G.¹
