     Hon. Joan Evelyn Underhill is the daughter of Henry Reginald Underhill, Baron Underhill and Flora Philbrick.¹

     William Henry Hoare was born on 31 October 1809.¹ He was the son of William Henry Hoare and Louisa Elizabeth Noel.¹ He married Araminta Anne Hamilton, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Emily Sophia Monck.¹ He died on 22 February 1888 at age 78 at Oakfield, Crawley, Sussex, England.¹
     He was educated at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹
