     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He was Staff Captain at the Headquarters of North Command at India.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Duke of Wellington’s Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Prevost, of Belmont, Hampshire [U.K., 1805] on 6 April 1939.¹
