     Reginald Edward Pole was born on 18 May 1855.¹ He was the son of Edward Pole and Fanny Grogan.² He married Ethelreda Frances Bowyer-Smijth, daughter of Reverend Alfred John Edward Bowyer-Smijth and Mary Constantia Rolt, on 3 November 1880.¹ He died on 13 November 1926 at age 71.¹
