     She gained the rank of officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service, |during the Second World War.¹ From 24 July 1948, her married name became Turnbull.¹ She lived at Well Cottage, Lingen, Bucknall, Shropshire, England.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Turnbull was the son of Alfred Turnbull.² He married Angela Palmer, daughter of Frederick Charles Palmer and Mabel Frances Hughes-Hallett, on 24 July 1948.¹ He died in 1986.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonerl in the 11th Hussars (Prince Albert’s Own Regiment.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Richard Turnbull was born on 21 June 1951.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. John Turnbull and Angela Palmer.² He married Sally McKeen, daughter of Donald McKeen, in 1978.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹

     Sally McKeen is the daughter of Donald McKeen.² She married Richard Turnbull, son of Lt.-Col. John Turnbull and Angela Palmer, in 1978.¹
     From 1978, her married name became Turnbull.¹

     Robert Turnbull was born in 1980.¹ He is the son of Richard Turnbull and Sally McKeen.²

     James Turnbull was born in 1982.¹ He is the son of Richard Turnbull and Sally McKeen.²

     Michael Turnbull was born on 19 February 1953.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. John Turnbull and Angela Palmer.² He married Christine Peter, daughter of Reginald Charles Peter, in 1996.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He lived at 8 Mackay Rd, London, England.¹

     Reginald Charles Peter lived at Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.¹
