     Mervyn Cecil ffranck Sheppard was born on 21 June 1905.² He was the son of Canon James William ffranck Sheppard and Louisa Frances Rothwell.^3,2 He married Rosemary Oakeley, daughter of Major Edward Francis Oakeley and Everilde Anne Beaumont, on 27 January 1940.¹ He died in 1994.¹
     He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was A.D.O. with the Malay Civil Service.²

     Lavender Frances Sheppard was born on 17 October 1941.¹ She is the daughter of Mervyn Cecil ffranck Sheppard and Rosemary Oakeley.² She married, firstly, Lieutenant Richard Giles Saker, son of Major Richard Kenneth Maitland Saker, on 24 April 1962.¹ She and Lieutenant Richard Giles Saker were divorced in 1981.¹ She married, secondly, Francis John Buckland, son of Brigadier Frank Buckland and Yvonne Anson, on 19 November 1987.¹
     She was educated at Beechlawn.¹ She was educated at Edinburgh Theological Institute, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ From 24 April 1962, her married name became Saker. From 19 November 1987, her married name became Buckland. She lived in 2003 at Tandlaw, Hawick, Roxburghshire, Scotland.¹

     Major Richard Kenneth Maitland Saker was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Lieutenant Richard Giles Saker is the son of Major Richard Kenneth Maitland Saker.² He married Lavender Frances Sheppard, daughter of Mervyn Cecil ffranck Sheppard and Rosemary Oakeley, on 24 April 1962.¹ He and Lavender Frances Sheppard were divorced in 1981.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Iain Richard Mark Saker was born in 1962.¹ He is the son of Lieutenant Richard Giles Saker and Lavender Frances Sheppard.² He married Kate MacDonald, daughter of Ian MacDonald, in 1992.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the 1st Queen’s Dragoon Guards.¹
