     Adam Nisbet of that Ilk was the son of Philip Nisbet of that Ilk and Mariota Hoppringill.² He died in 1551, without issue.¹

     George Nisbet of that Ilk was the son of Adam Nisbet of that Ilk.² He married Elizabeth Cranstoun, daughter of Cuthbert Cranstoun of Thirlestane Mains, in 1551.¹ He died on 14 January 1600.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Scotland] in 1560/61.¹

     Elizabeth Cranstoun is the daughter of Cuthbert Cranstoun of Thirlestane Mains.² She married George Nisbet of that Ilk, son of Adam Nisbet of that Ilk, in 1551.¹
     From 1551, her married name became Nisbet.

     Isobel Home is the daughter of David Home of Wedderburn.² She married Philip Nisbet of that Ilk, son of Adam Nisbet of that Ilk and Lucie Rutherfurd.¹
     Her married name became Nisbet.¹

     Emma Maria Trotman was born on 9 June 1800 at Oxhill, Warwickshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Trotman and Lucy Newsham.¹ She died on 9 May 1802 at age 1.¹

     Elizabeth Mary Godber is the daughter of Venerable John Godber.¹ She married Riou Benson, son of Major George Reginald Benson and Violet Martha Helena Estorffe, on 11 February 1950.¹
     From 11 February 1950, her married name became Benson.¹

     Reverend Philip Nisbet was born circa 1590.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Nisbet of that Ilk and Elizabeth Haldane.² He married Elizabeth Hoyle, daughter of Thomas Hoyle, in 1616.¹ He died on 7 February 1658.¹
     He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He was Rector at St. Martin’s Micklegate, York, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was Rector at Buscel, Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was a Parliamentarian during the Civil Wars.¹ He was Rector at Easington, County Durham, England.¹

     Thomas Nisbet is the son of Sir Philip Nisbet of that Ilk and Elizabeth Haldane.² He married Agnes Purves.¹
