     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, King’s Regiment.¹

     Major Gilbert Percy Elliot was born on 3 November 1898.¹ He was the son of Major Hugh Elliot and Alicia Lucy Robinson.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Major Charles Francis Desmond Elliot was born on 25 December 1908.¹ He is the son of Major Hugh Elliot and Alicia Lucy Robinson.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Gurkha Regiment.¹

     Margaret Elliot was born on 31 May 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Major Hugh Elliot and Alicia Lucy Robinson.¹

     Clare Lucy Elliot was born on 9 September 1900.¹ She was the daughter of Major Hugh Elliot and Alicia Lucy Robinson.¹

     Ernest Ousely Elliot was born on 15 February 1865.¹ He was the son of Frederick Eden Elliot and Marcia Cordelia Ouseley.¹ He died in 1925.¹

     Beatrice Ellen Elliot was born on 14 November 1867.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick Eden Elliot and Marcia Cordelia Ouseley.¹ She died on 28 August 1957 at age 89, unmarried.¹

     Emily Agnes Elliot was born on 14 November 1867.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick Eden Elliot and Marcia Cordelia Ouseley.¹ She married Lt.-Col. John McConaghey in 1894.¹ She died on 2 April 1914 at age 46.¹
     From 1894, her married name became McConaghey.¹

     Lt.-Col. John McConaghey married Emily Agnes Elliot, daughter of Frederick Eden Elliot and Marcia Cordelia Ouseley, in 1894.¹
     He was with the Indian Medical Service.¹ He was Inspector-General of Civil Hospital, India.¹

     Emma Clara Elliot was born in 1842.² She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Charles Elliot and Clara Genevieve Windsor.¹ She married Reverend George Barrow Pennell on 8 June 1864 at St. helena.¹ She died on 27 May 1865.¹
     From 8 June 1864, her married name became Pennell.¹
