     Lady Caroline St. Clair-Erskine was born on 7 June 1956.¹ She is the daughter of Anthony Hugh Francis Harry St. Clair-Erskine, 6th Earl of Rosslyn and Athenais Marie Madeleine Victurnienne de Rochechouart de Mortemart.¹ She married Michael Francis Marten, son of Lt.-Col. Francis William Marten and Hon. Avice Irene Venables-Vernon, in 1991.¹
     From 1991, her married name became Marten.¹

     Robert Charles de Grey Vyner was born on 13 February 1842.¹ He was the son of Henry Vyner and Lady Mary Gertrude Weddell.¹ He married Eleanor Margaret Duncombe Shafto, daughter of Reverend Slingsby Duncombe Shafto, on 10 July 1865.¹ He died on 19 March 1915 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1893.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.¹ He lived at Fairfield House, Yorkshire, England.¹ He lived at Gautby Hall, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Newby Hall, Skelton, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Charles Jarrott married Violet Aline Vyner, daughter of Robert Charles de Grey Vyner and Eleanor Margaret Duncombe Shafto, on 12 August 1903.¹

     Eleanor Margaret Duncombe Shafto was the daughter of Reverend Slingsby Duncombe Shafto.¹ She married Robert Charles de Grey Vyner, son of Henry Vyner and Lady Mary Gertrude Weddell, on 10 July 1865.¹ She died on 7 December 1913.¹
     Her married name became Vyner.

     Reverend Slingsby Duncombe Shafto is the son of Robert Eden Duncombe Shafto and Catherine Eden.²

     Henry Vyner was born on 26 August 1805.² He was the son of Robert Vyner and Lady Theodosia Maria Ashburnham.² He married Lady Mary Gertrude Weddell, daughter of Thomas Philip de Grey, 2nd Earl de Grey of Wrest and Lady Henrietta Frances Cole, on 5 July 1832.¹ He died on 22 January 1861 at age 55.³

     Lady Mary Gertrude Weddell was born on 5 February 1809.² She was the daughter of Thomas Philip de Grey, 2nd Earl de Grey of Wrest and Lady Henrietta Frances Cole.¹ She married Henry Vyner, son of Robert Vyner and Lady Theodosia Maria Ashburnham, on 5 July 1832.¹ She died on 11 July 1892 at age 83.¹
     From 5 July 1832, her married name became Vyner.

     Anthony Hugh Francis Harry St. Clair-Erskine, 6th Earl of Rosslyn was born on 18 May 1917 at London, England.¹ He was the son of Francis Edward Scudamore St. Clair-Erskine, Lord Loughborough and Sheila Margaret MacKellar Chisholm.² He married Athenais Marie Madeleine Victurnienne de Rochechouart de Mortemart, daughter of Louis-Victor Marie François de Rochechouart de Mortemart, Duc de Vivonne and Solange Marie Paule d‘Harcourt, on 3 August 1955 at London, England.¹ He and Athenais Marie Madeleine Victurnienne de Rochechouart de Mortemart were divorced in 1962.² He died on 22 November 1977 at age 60 at London, England.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.² He succeeded as the 6th Baron Loughborough, of Loughborough, Surrey [G.B., 1795] on 10 August 1939.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Erskine, of Alva [N.S., 1666] on 10 August 1939.² He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Rosslyn [U.K., 1801] on 10 August 1939.²

     Athenais Marie Madeleine Victurnienne de Rochechouart de Mortemart was born on 17 April 1935 at Paris, France.² She is the daughter of Louis-Victor Marie François de Rochechouart de Mortemart, Duc de Vivonne and Solange Marie Paule d‘Harcourt.² She married Anthony Hugh Francis Harry St. Clair-Erskine, 6th Earl of Rosslyn, son of Francis Edward Scudamore St. Clair-Erskine, Lord Loughborough and Sheila Margaret MacKellar Chisholm, on 3 August 1955 at London, England.² She and Anthony Hugh Francis Harry St. Clair-Erskine, 6th Earl of Rosslyn were divorced in 1962.¹
     From 3 August 1955, her married name became St. Clair-Erskine. After her marriage, Athenais Marie Madeleine Victurnienne de Rochechouart de Mortemart was styled as Countess of Rosslyn on 3 August 1955.

     Louis-Victor Marie François de Rochechouart de Mortemart, Duc de Vivonne was born on 13 August 1909 at Paris, France.¹ He was the son of François Marie Joseph de Rochechouart de Mortemart, Marquis de Mortemart and Marguerite Françoise Marie de La Rochefoucauld.¹ He married Solange Marie Paule d‘Harcourt, daughter of Robert Louis Marie Guillaume, Comte d Harcourt and Félicie Marie, Comtesse de Blacas d’Aulps, on 21 October 1932.¹ He died on 28 May 1938 at age 28 at Paris, France.¹
