He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Shaw, of Bushy Park, co. Dublin [U.K., 1821] on 15 July 1927.2 He held the office of Member, Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Kenya] between 1934 and 1938.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was invalided.1
