     Captain Caleb Alan Bryce Whitefoord was born on 17 June 1881.² He was the son of Samuel Charles Whitefoord and Mary Mills.² He married, firstly, Evelyn Margaret Mary Whitefoord, daughter of Adam John Whitefoord and Ellen Mary Cole, on 18 November 1905.¹ He married, secondly, Leslie Gwyn Chittenden, daughter of Edmund Barrow Chittenden, on 4 February 1928.²
     He fought in the Boer War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Army.² He fought in the First World War.²
