     Lionel Cole Whitefoord was born on 2 October 1876.1 He was the son of Adam John Whitefoord and Ellen Mary Cole.1 He married Marjory Agatha Postlethwaite, daughter of Archibald Postlethwaite and Louisa Agnes Ward, on 24 August 1904.1 He died on 15 September 1916 at age 39 at FranceG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Irish Guards.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Marjory Agatha Postlethwaite was the daughter of Archibald Postlethwaite and Louisa Agnes Ward.1 She married Lionel Cole Whitefoord, son of Adam John Whitefoord and Ellen Mary Cole, on 24 August 1904.1 She died on 11 February 1963.1
     From 24 August 1904, her married name became Whitefoord.1

     She lived at Ossington, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 From 29 April 1761, her married name became Whitefoord.
