     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He was given the name of Angus Jeremy Christopher Dunlop at birth.1 In 1945 his name was legally changed to Angus Jeremy Christopher Hildyard by Deed Poll and again by Royal Licence in 1964.1
