     Lt.-Col. George Ralph Miller was born on 23 December 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry John Miller and Jessie Orbell.² He married Violet Mary Teschemaker, daughter of W H Teschemaker, on 21 February 1916.¹ He died in 1948.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times and was wounded twice.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.¹

     W H Teschemaker lived at Kauro Hill, Otago, New Zealand.¹

     Violet Mary Teschemaker was the daughter of W H Teschemaker.² She married Lt.-Col. George Ralph Miller, son of Sir Henry John Miller and Jessie Orbell, on 21 February 1916.¹ She died in 1981.¹
     From 21 February 1916, her married name became Miller.

     Cecil Ralph Miller was born on 13 November 1917.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. George Ralph Miller and Violet Mary Teschemaker.² He married Marie Sumner, daughter of Stephen Sumner, in 1981.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Parachute Regiment (Territorial Army.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 70 Ballabrooie Way, Douglas, Isle of Man.¹

     Marie Sumner is the daughter of Stephen Sumner.² She married, firstly, Major Robert Thomas Williamson before 1981.¹ She married, secondly, Cecil Ralph Miller, son of Lt.-Col. George Ralph Miller and Violet Mary Teschemaker, in 1981.¹
     From before 1981, her married name became Williamson.¹ From 1981, her married name became Miller.

     Anthony John Miller was born on 21 May 1920.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Ralph Miller and Violet Mary Teschemaker.² He married Sheila Doreen Harvey, daughter of Lt.-Col. L. Harvey, in 1952.¹ He died in 1999.¹

     Lt.-Col. L. Harvey lived at Clare Glen, High Hurstwood, Surrey, England.¹
