     Constance Caroline Miller was the daughter of Sir Charles Hayes Miller, 7th Bt. and Katherine Maria Scott.² She married Herbert William D’Arcy Vertue on 18 August 1896.¹ She died on 31 August 1914.¹
     From 18 August 1896, her married name became Vertue.

     Herbert William D’Arcy Vertue married Constance Caroline Miller, daughter of Sir Charles Hayes Miller, 7th Bt. and Katherine Maria Scott, on 18 August 1896.¹

     Sir Henry John Miller was born on 9 September 1830.¹ He was the son of Reverend Sir Thomas Combe Miller, 6th Bt. and Martha Holmes.² He married Jessie Orbell, daughter of John Orbell, on 15 December 1864.¹ He died on 7 February 1917 at age 86.¹
     He held the office of Member of the Legislative Assembly (M.L.C.) [New Zealand] between 1865 and 1917.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [New Zealand]¹ He held the office of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly [New Zealand] between 1892 and 1903.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1901.¹

     John Orbell lived at Hawkesbury, Waikonati, New Zealand.¹

     Jessie Orbell was the daughter of John Orbell.² She married Sir Henry John Miller, son of Reverend Sir Thomas Combe Miller, 6th Bt. and Martha Holmes, on 15 December 1864.¹ She died on 23 July 1920.¹
     From 15 December 1864, her married name became Miller.

     Sir Henry Holmes Miller, 9th Bt. was born on 15 December 1866.² He was the son of Sir Henry John Miller and Jessie Orbell.² He married Caroline Matilda Greville, daughter of Henry Joseph Greville, in 1895.² He died on 13 November 1952 at age 85.²
     He was educated at Christs College, Christchurch, New Zealand^G.² He was a sheep-farmer.² He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Miller, of Chichester, co. Sussex [E., 1705] on 4 October 1940.²

     William Nicholson Miller was born in 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry John Miller and Jessie Orbell.² He married Edith Mary Forsyth, daughter of J. C. Forsyth, in 1906.¹ He died on 21 August 1950.¹
