     Sir George Ernest May, 1st Baron May was born on 20 June 1871.¹ He married Lily Julia Strauss, daughter of G. Strauss, on 15 October 1903.¹ He died on 10 April 1946 at age 74.²
     He was Secretary of Prudential Assurance Company.¹ He was Manager of the American Dollar Securities Committee between 1916 and 1918.¹ He was DQMG of the War Office in charge of canteens between 1916 and 1919.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1918.¹ He was created 1st Baronet May, of Weybridge, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 27 January 1931.¹ He was chairman of the Import Duties Advisory Committee between 1932 and 1946.¹ He was created 1st Baron May, of Weybridge, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 28 June 1935.¹

     Lily Julia Strauss was the daughter of G. Strauss.¹ She married Sir George Ernest May, 1st Baron May on 15 October 1903.¹ She died on 15 January 1955.¹
     From 15 October 1903, her married name became May. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.¹ After her marriage, Lily Julia Strauss was styled as Baroness May on 28 June 1935.

     John Lawrence May, 2nd Baron May was born on 15 August 1904.² He was the son of Sir George Ernest May, 1st Baron May and Lily Julia Strauss.² He married, firstly, Cicely Beryl Fleming, daughter of Ernest Fleming, on 1 July 1925.² He married, secondly, Ethel Christina Thoms, daughter of George Ricardo Thoms, on 29 October 1928.² He died on 9 March 1950 at age 45.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet May, of Weybridge, co. Surrey [U.K., 1931] on 10 April 1946.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baron May, of Weybridge, co. Surrey [U.K., 1935] on 10 April 1946.²

     Major Hon. Patrick William May was born on 25 May 1911.¹ He was the son of Sir George Ernest May, 1st Baron May and Lily Julia Strauss.² He married, firstly, Dorothy Patience du Croz, daughter of Francis du Croz, on 17 February 1934.¹ He and Dorothy Patience du Croz were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, secondly, Audrey Gillian Bagot, daughter of Edward Bagot, on 10 February 1951.¹ He died on 9 September 1956 at age 45.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Francis du Croz lived at Weybridge, Surrey, England.¹

     Dorothy Patience du Croz is the daughter of Francis du Croz.² She married Major Hon. Patrick William May, son of Sir George Ernest May, 1st Baron May and Lily Julia Strauss, on 17 February 1934.¹ She and Major Hon. Patrick William May were divorced in 1948.¹
     From 17 February 1934, her married name became May.

     Caroline May May was born in 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Major Hon. Patrick William May and Dorothy Patience du Croz.² She married Edwin Waldman in 1954.¹
     From 1954, her married name became Waldman. She lived in 2003 at 45 Burleigh Street, Waterville, Maine, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Edwin Waldman married Caroline May May, daughter of Major Hon. Patrick William May and Dorothy Patience du Croz, in 1954.¹

     Joshua Patrick Waldman was born in 1957.¹ He is the son of Edwin Waldman and Caroline May May.²

     Noah William Waldman was born in 1962.¹ He is the son of Edwin Waldman and Caroline May May.²
