     Catherine Mary Macdonell was born in 1863 at Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Eneas Ronald Macdonell and Catherine Sidgreaves.3 She married Major Hugh Frederick Lyons-Montgomery on 15 October 1896.1 She died on 22 May 1911.1
     From 15 October 1896, her married name became Lyons-Montgomery.

     Major Hugh Frederick Lyons-Montgomery was born circa 1856.2 He married Catherine Mary Macdonell, daughter of Eneas Ronald Macdonell and Catherine Sidgreaves, on 15 October 1896.1 He married Winifred Gascoyne Dalziel, daughter of William Gascoyne Dalziel and Fanny Gertrude Trayes, in 1912 at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales.2 He died in October 1931 at Wimborne, Dorset, England.1,2
     He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived at Camusdarrach, Arisaig, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1
