     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1944.¹ He was director of Geo Wimpey.¹ He was chairman and managing director of Vine Products.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Marchwood, of Penang, and of Marchwood, co. Southampton [U.K., 1937] on 1 January 1955.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Penny [U.K., 1933] on 1 January 1955.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Marchwood, of Penang, and of Marchwood, co. Southampton [U.K., 1945] on 1 January 1955.¹

     Pamela Colton-Fox was the daughter of John Staveley Colton-Fox.¹ She married Peter George Penny, 2nd Viscount Marchwood, son of Frederick George Penny, 1st Viscount Marchwood and Anne Boyle Gunn, on 30 July 1935.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     From 30 July 1935, her married name became Penny. After her marriage, Pamela Colton-Fox was styled as Viscountess Marchwood on 1 January 1955.

     William Stewart Collis was born on 27 September 1860.² He was the son of Maurice Henry Collis and Sarah Marcella Lyster Jameson.² He married Edith Lilla Barton, daughter of Robert Barton, on 20 August 1886.² He died on 2 January 1947 at age 86.²

Patrick Glyn Staveley Penny was born on 3 July 1939.¹ He was the son of Peter George Penny, 2nd Viscount Marchwood and Pamela Colton-Fox.² He married, firstly, Sue Eleanor Jane Brutton, daughter of Charles Phipps Brutton, on 10 April 1968.¹ He and Sue Eleanor Jane Brutton were divorced in 1974.¹ He married, secondly, Lynn Vanessa Wyles, daughter of John Leslie Wyles, in 1979. He died on 10 September 2010 at age 71 at France.³
     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1962 and 1965 in the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry.¹ He lived in 2003 at 29 Chester Row, London, England^G.¹
