(Liberal) for Pudsey between 1900 and 1908.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1907.1 He was created 1st Baron Marchamley, of Hawkstone, Shropshire [U.K.] on 3 July 1908.1

(Conservative) for Droitwich between 1916 and 1918.2 On 7 February 1918 his name was legally changed to Herbert James Huntington-Whiteley by Royal Licence.2 He was created 1st Baronet Huntington-Whiteley, of Grimley, co. Worcester [U.K.] on 8 February 1918.2
