     Admiral Frederic Charles Dreyer was born on 8 January 1878.1 He was the son of John Louis Emil Dreyer.1 He married Una Maria Hallett, daughter of Reverend John Thomas Hallett and Caroline Maria Pilkington, in 1901.2 He died on 12 December 1956 at age 78.1
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the China Station.1
