     Marjorie Campbell is the daughter of James Campbell of Inerdrichard.² She married Andrew Macpherson, son of William Macpherson, 3rd of Nuide and Isabel Mackintosh.¹
     Her married name became Macpherson.

     William Macpherson was the son of Andrew Macpherson and Marjorie Campbell.² He married Anna (?) in 1735.¹ He died on 17 January 1746, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Falkirk on 17 January 1746.¹

     Anna (?) married, firstly, unknown Grant of Laggan before 1735.¹ She married, secondly, William Macpherson, son of Andrew Macpherson and Marjorie Campbell, in 1735.¹
     From before 1735, her married name became Grant.¹ From 1735, her married name became Macpherson.

     Colonel Allan Macpherson, 1st of Blairgowrie was born on 7 June 1740.¹ He was the son of William Macpherson and Anna (?)² He married Eliza Dell Fraser of Fairfield.¹
     He purchased Blairgowrie.¹ He fought in the Seven Years War between 1757 and 1763, in Canada and the West Indies.¹ He was in the Honourable East India Company Service between 1764 and 1787.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 42nd Royal Highlanders (Black Watch.)¹ He held the office of Quartermaster General of Bengal between 1781 and 1787.¹

     Eliza Dell Fraser of Fairfield married Colonel Allan Macpherson, 1st of Blairgowrie, son of William Macpherson and Anna (?).¹
     Her married name became Macpherson.

     William Macpherson, 2nd of Blairgowrie was born on 26 August 1784.¹ He was the son of Colonel Allan Macpherson, 1st of Blairgowrie and Eliza Dell Fraser of Fairfield.² He married Janet Chalmers, daughter of William Chalmers, on 20 April 1815.¹ He died on 11 March 1866 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Clerk of Executive and Legislative Council [New South Wales] between 2 January 1837 and 31 December 1859.¹

     William Chalmers lived at Glenericht, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Janet Chalmers was the daughter of William Chalmers.² She married William Macpherson, 2nd of Blairgowrie, son of Colonel Allan Macpherson, 1st of Blairgowrie and Eliza Dell Fraser of Fairfield, on 20 April 1815.¹ She died on 10 June 1847.¹
     From 20 April 1815, her married name became Macpherson.

     Allan Macpherson, 3rd of Blairgowrie was born on 24 October 1818.¹ He was the son of William Macpherson, 2nd of Blairgowrie and Janet Chalmers.² He married Emma Blake, daughter of Charles Blake, on 30 April 1853.¹ He died on 6 November 1891 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Cape’s School, Sydney, New South WAles, Australia.¹ He held the office of Member of the Perthshire County Council.¹ He held the office of Member, Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.) [New South Wales]¹
