     Isabel Maclean is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Donald Maclean, 3rd of Brolas and Isabella Maclean.² She married John Maclaine, 17th of Lochbuie, son of Allan Maclaine of Garmony and Julia Maclean.¹
     Her married name became Maclaine.

     Captain Archibald Maclaine, 18th of Lochbuie was the son of John Maclaine, 17th of Lochbuie and Isabel Maclean.² He married Barbara Lowther, daughter of Thomas Lowther, on 19 April 1784 at New York, U.S.A.¹ He died on 6 August 1784, murdered by Daniel Munro on board the ship carrying him to Britain.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1776 in the 1st Battalion, 84th Royal Highland Emigrant Regiment.¹ In 1776 he received control of the Lochbuie lands from his father.¹ On 31 May 1776 by an entail, he named the whole future succession to chiefship and possession of Lochbuie and the barony of Moy, namely, in order, to his own lawful heirs-male, then the lawful heirs-male of Gillean Maclaine of Scallastle, of John maclean of Gruline, Alan Maclaine, elder brother of Captain Murdoch Maclaine, of Murdoch Maclaine of Kilmory, of Hugh Maclean of Kingairloch and of Allan Maclean in Scallastle, later of Glasgow.¹ In 1776 he put the estate in the care of John Maclean of Gruline and went to America.¹ In 1779 after promotion to Captain, he quarrelled with his commanding officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Allan Maclean of Torloisk and in was sentenced by court martial to six months suspension, which the Secretary at War changed to dismissal from the service.¹ In 1784 he left Canada to plead his case before the King.¹

     Barbara Lowther is the daughter of Thomas Lowther.² She married Captain Archibald Maclaine, 18th of Lochbuie, son of John Maclaine, 17th of Lochbuie and Isabel Maclean, on 19 April 1784 at New York, U.S.A.¹
     From 19 April 1784, her married name became Maclaine.

     Washington Maclaine was born illegitimately circa 1779.¹ He was the son of Captain Archibald Maclaine, 18th of Lochbuie and Charlotte le Maistre.^2,1

     Colonel Michael Gordon Douglas Henderson was born in 1925.¹ He was the son of Brigadier Harold Gordon Henderson and Beryl Douglas McCraith.¹ He married Deidre Christine Hawley.¹ He died on 6 October 2014 at Haworth, Yorkshire, England.^1,2
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the 8th Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the 7th Duke of Edinburgh’s Own Gurkha Rifles.¹ He was deputy director, Save the Children’s Fund, Nepal.¹ He lived at Haworth, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Jane Campbell was the daughter of Sir John Campbell, 5th of Airds and Jane Campbell.^2,3 She married Murdoch Maclaine, 19th of Lochbuie, son of Lachlan Maclaine and Flora Macquarrie, on 14 February 1786.¹ She died on 18 August 1824.¹
     From 14 February 1786, her married name became Maclaine.

     Murdoch Maclaine, 20th of Lochbuie was born on 1 August 1791.¹ He was the son of Murdoch Maclaine, 19th of Lochbuie and Jane Campbell.² He married Christina Maclean, daughter of Donald Maclean and Lilias Grant, on 7 March 1813.¹ He died on 20 August 1844 at age 53.¹
     He was commissioned with the rank of Ensign.¹ He fought in the Peninsular Wars.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 42nd Highlanders (Black Watch.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     John Maclaine was born on 22 August 1792.¹ He was the son of Murdoch Maclaine, 19th of Lochbuie and Jane Campbell.² He died on 14 January 1818 at age 25 at Sri Lanka, killed in a native riot, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1808 in the 79th Highlanders.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 73rd Regiment.¹ In 1810 he went to Australia.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to his cousin Major-General Lachlan Macquarie, Governor of New South Wales between 1813 and 1815.¹ He gave his name to the Maclaine Plains, Tasmania.¹

     Jane Maclaine was born in 1787.¹ She was the daughter of Murdoch Maclaine, 19th of Lochbuie and Jane Campbell.² She married Captain Colin Campbell, son of Alexander Campbell of Lerags.¹ She died at Australia.¹
     Her married name became Campbell.
