Dudley St. Leger Hill and Caroline Drury Hunter.¹ She was baptised on 3 February 1831 at West Molesey, Surrey, England^G.¹ She married, firstly, Jonas Hamilton Travers, son of Colonel Robert Travers and Catherine Lee, on 26 January 1850 at Ambala, Haryana, India^G.¹ She married, secondly, Horace Newman Travers, son of General Sir Robert Travers and Harriet Letitia Belford, on 2 June 1853 at Timoleague, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ She died on 19 April 1916 at age 86 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹
     From 26 January 1850, her married name became Travers.¹

     Horace Newman Travers was born on 9 November 1826 at Gortigrenane, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of General Sir Robert Travers and Harriet Letitia Belford.^2,1 He married Rosamund St. Leger Shirley Hill, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Dudley St. Leger Hill and Caroline Drury Hunter, on 2 June 1853 at Timoleague, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He died on 25 June 1867 at age 40 at Kingston, Jamaica^G.¹

     Colonel William Belford gained the rank of Colonel in the 13th Foot.¹

     Greville Archibald Fitzpatrick Vernon was born on 2 July 1908.¹ He was the son of Rupert Robert Charles Vernon and Dorothy Inez Elinor Thornycroft.² He died on 27 December 1929 at age 21, killed in a car crash.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Harriet Letitia Belford was the daughter of Colonel William Belford.² She married General Sir Robert Travers, son of John Travers and Mehetabel Colthurst, on 4 July 1809.³ She died on 24 May 1847.²
     From 4 July 1809, her married name became Travers.³

     Jonas Hamilton Travers was born on 14 July 1820 at Timoleague, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Colonel Robert Travers and Catherine Lee.¹ He married Rosamund St. Leger Shirley Hill, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Dudley St. Leger Hill and Caroline Drury Hunter, on 26 January 1850 at Ambala, Haryana, India^G.¹ He died on 18 May 1850 at age 29, at sea on his way home from India.¹
