Sir William Guy Lowther, 5th Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Bingham Lowther, 4th Bt. and Marjory Noel Fielden, on 18 July 1939.1 She died on 19 November 2001 at age 83.1
     From 18 July 1939, her married name became Lowther.
