Katie Blanche Davies was the daughter of W. G. Davies.3 She married Major Basil Charles Robert Loder, son of Lt.-Col. Alfred Basil Loder and Annie Katherine Crosse, on 8 January 1908.1 She died on 16 April 1957.1
She was a stage actress.2 Katie Blanche Davies used the stage-name of Barbara Deane.2 From 8 January 1908, her married name became Loder.

Brigadier Robert Eric Loder1 
He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of New South Wales in 1938.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940, where he became a POW.1 He was Commandant of the Royal Military School of Music between 1958 and 1961.1 He was Head of the Commonwealth Liaison Mission, UN Command Korea in 1961.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1965.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Deputy Colonel in 1968 in the 3rd Battalion, Queen’s Regiment (Royal Sussex.)1 He gained the rank of Deputy Colonel in 1969 in the (Sussex) Queen’s Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex in 1972.1 In 1975 he won the London-Brighton Vintage Car Race.1
