     Rhoda Lelia Alice Orde-Powlett was born on 8 June 1875.¹ She was the daughter of William Thomas Orde-Powlett, 4th Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle and Lady Algitha Frederica Mary Lumley.¹ She died on 15 July 1890 at age 15.¹

     George William Herbert, 7th Earl of Powis was born on 4 June 1925.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Percy Mark Herbert and Hon. Elaine Letitia Algitha Orde-Powlett.¹ He married Hon. Katharine Odeyne de Grey, daughter of Lt.-Col. George de Grey, 8th Baron Walsingham and Hyacinth Lambart Bouwens, on 26 July 1949.¹ He died on 13 August 1993 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Land Agents’ Society (F.L.A.S.)¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Clive of Plassey, co. Montgomery [U.K., 1804] in 1988.² He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Clive of Ludlow [U.K., 1804] in 1988.² He succeeded as the 7th Baron Powis, of Powis Castle, co. Montgomery [U.K., 1804] in 1988.²

     Hon. Katharine Odeyne de Grey was born on 26 April 1928.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. George de Grey, 8th Baron Walsingham and Hyacinth Lambart Bouwens.² She married George William Herbert, 7th Earl of Powis, son of Rt. Rev. Percy Mark Herbert and Hon. Elaine Letitia Algitha Orde-Powlett, on 26 July 1949.²
     Her married name became Herbert. After her marriage, Hon. Katharine Odeyne de Grey was styled as Countess of Powis in 1988. She lived in 2003 at Marrington Hall, Chirbury, Powys, Wales.¹

     Lt.-Col. George de Grey, 8th Baron Walsingham was born on 9 May 1884 at Westminster, London, England.¹ He was the son of John Augustus de Grey, 7th Baron Walsingham and Elizabeth Henrietta Grant.² He married Hyacinth Lambart Bouwens, daughter of Lt.-Col. Lambart Henry Bouwens, on 29 April 1919.² He died on 29 November 1965 at age 81.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded three times and was mentioned in dispatches four times.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Norfolk Regiment.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)² He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)² He succeeded as the 8th Baron Walsingham, of Walsingham, Norfolk [G.B., 1780] on 21 March 1929.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk in 1930.² He gained the rank of Second World War.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk in 1959.²

     Hyacinth Lambart Bouwens was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Lambart Henry Bouwens.¹ She married Lt.-Col. George de Grey, 8th Baron Walsingham, son of John Augustus de Grey, 7th Baron Walsingham and Elizabeth Henrietta Grant, on 29 April 1919.¹ She died on 6 February 1968.¹
     After her marriage, Hyacinth Lambart Bouwens was styled as Baroness Walsingham on 21 March 1929.

     Lt.-Col. Lambart Henry Bouwens is the son of Reverend Theodore Bouwens and Lady Julia Lambart. He married Charlotte Bethell, daughter of William Froggatt Bethell.
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at Eyot Mead, Mayfield, Sussex, England.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He lived at Boxmoor House, Boxmoor, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹

     Lt.-Col. John de Grey, 9th Baron Walsingham was born on 21 February 1925.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. George de Grey, 8th Baron Walsingham and Hyacinth Lambart Bouwens.² He married Wendy Elizabeth Hoare, daughter of Edward Sidney Hoare, on 30 July 1963.¹
