     Martin Drummond Vesey Holt was the son of Sir Vesey George Mackenzie Holt and Mabel Mary Drummond.¹ He married Lady Phyllis Hedworth Camilla Herbert, daughter of Colonel Edward William Herbert and Beatrice Anne Williamson, on 1 June 1918.¹ He died on 2 November 1956.¹

     Sir Vesey George Mackenzie Holt married Mabel Mary Drummond, daughter of Walter Drummond and Isabella Mary Hervey, on 9 March 1880.¹ He died on 6 December 1923.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He lived at Mount Mascal, Bexley, Kent, England.¹

     Vesey Martin Edward Holt was born on 28 March 1927.² He was the son of Martin Drummond Vesey Holt and Lady Phyllis Hedworth Camilla Herbert.² He married Elizabeth Jane Sanger, daughter of John Sanger, on 12 March 1955.² He died in 2001 at Shropshire, England.³
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.² He was Governor between 1970 and 1997 at Wrekin College, Wellington, Shropshire, England^G.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1981.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire in 1986.¹ He lived at Orleton Hall, Wellington, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Jane Sanger was born in 1928.² She was the daughter of John Sanger.¹ She married Vesey Martin Edward Holt, son of Martin Drummond Vesey Holt and Lady Phyllis Hedworth Camilla Herbert, on 12 March 1955.¹ She died on 14 May 2019.²
     Her married name became Holt. She held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire in 1995.¹ She lived in 2003 at Orleton Hall, Wellington, Shropshire, England.¹

     John Sanger lived at Herons Farm, Kirdford, Sussex, England.¹ He lived at Gaywood Farm, West Chiltington, Sussex, England^G.

     Peter John Vesey Holt was born on 21 January 1956.¹ He is the son of Vesey Martin Edward Holt and Elizabeth Jane Sanger.¹ He married Sarah Elizabeth Gantlett, daughter of Eric Gantlett, on 14 June 1997.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He wrote the book In Clive’s Footsteps, published 1990.¹ He wrote the book The Big Muddy, published 1991.¹ He wrote the book Stars of India, published 1998.¹ He lived in 2003 at Orleton Hall, Wellington, Shropshire, England.¹

     Amanda Phyllis Vesey Holt was born on 2 April 1958.² She is the daughter of Vesey Martin Edward Holt and Elizabeth Jane Sanger.^2,1 She married Charles Colin Addington Bathurst, son of Major Christopher Metcalfe Addington Bathurst and Sophie Mary Elizabeth Callander, on 28 August 1998.¹
     Amanda Phyllis Vesey Holt used the stage-name of Amanda Holt.² She graduated from Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London, England^G, with a Diploma of Dramatic Art.² From 28 August 1998, her married name became Bathurst.¹ She was an actress.² She lived in 2003 at 42 Stanford Road, London, England.²

     Lt.-Col. Graham Cludde Herbert was born on 19 November 1856.¹ He was the son of Hon. Robert Charles Herbert and Anna Maria Cludde.² He died on 24 September 1917 at age 60, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Afghan Campaign between 1879 and 1880.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Fusiliers.¹

     Arthur Frederick Herbert was born on 10 December 1866.¹ He was the son of Hon. Robert Charles Herbert and Anna Maria Cludde.² He died on 21 February 1907 at age 40, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Honourable Artillery Company.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1900.¹ He was King’s Messenger.¹

     Beatrice Mary Herbert was the daughter of Hon. Robert Charles Herbert and Anna Maria Cludde.² She married George Henry Vaughan Jenkins, son of Richard L. Jenkins, on 11 July 1883.¹ She died on 27 August 1931.¹
     Her married name became Jenkins.
