     Sir Ronald Alexander Lindsay of Dowhill, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 December 1933.¹ He was the son of Sir Martin Alexander Lindsay of Dowhill, 1st Bt. and Joyce Emily Lindsay.² He married Nicoletta Storich, daughter of Captain Edgar Storich, on 11 January 1968.¹ He died on 6 March 2004 at age 70.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1952 and 1954 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He was an insurance broker, chiefly with Hogg Robinson and Minet between 1958 and 1980.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Chartered Insurance Institute (F.C.I.I.) in 1964.¹ He was member of the Standing Council of the Baronetage in 1978.¹ He was general manager of the UK branch of Ocaso SA, of Madrid between 1980 and 1984.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Lindsay, of Dowhill, co. Kinross [U.K., 1962] on 5 May 1981.¹ He was a Lloyd’s membs’ agent in 1984.¹ He was awarded the Encomienda Orden de Isabel la Católica Spain in 1988.¹ He lived in 2003 at 104 Edith Road, London, England^G.¹

     He was educated at Shiplake College, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, Lancashire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lindsay, of Dowhill, co. Kinross [U.K., 1962] on 6 March 2004.

     Annabel Julia Knight is the daughter of Dr. Peter Knight.² She married Sir James Martin Evelyn Lindsay of Dowhill, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Ronald Alexander Lindsay of Dowhill, 2nd Bt. and Nicoletta Storich, on 26 February 2000.¹
