     Caroline Jane Alford was born on 22 December 1956.¹ She is the daughter of Major Jonathan Robert Alford and Patricia Boyle.¹

     Melissa Anne Alford was born on 24 August 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Major Jonathan Robert Alford and Patricia Boyle.¹ She married Roy Miller.²
     Her married name became Miller.²

     Captain James Boyle was born on 27 February 1850.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Alexander Boyle and Agnes Walker.¹ He married Blanche Eleanor Murray Pratt, daughter of Reverend Jermyn Pratt and Mary Louisa Murray, on 30 April 1891.¹ He died on 23 January 1931 at age 80, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Princess Victoria’s Royal Irish Fusiliers.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1904.¹ He was Consul to Funchal, Madiera between 1907 and 1919.¹

     Blanche Eleanor Murray Pratt was the daughter of Reverend Jermyn Pratt and Mary Louisa Murray.^1,2 She married Captain James Boyle, son of Vice-Admiral Alexander Boyle and Agnes Walker, on 30 April 1891.¹ She died on 5 September 1921.¹
     Her married name became Boyle.

     John Lubbock was born on 3 January 1668/69.² He married Elizabeth Webster, daughter of William Webster, on 2 June 1690.² He died on 4 August 1731 at age 62.²
     He lived at North Walsham, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Alexander Boyle was born on 24 November 1857.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Alexander Boyle and Agnes Walker.¹ He married Fanny Studholme, daughter of Michael Studholme and Iphigenia Maria Louisa Channon, on 5 July 1883.¹ He died on 5 April 1923 at age 65.¹

     Fanny Studholme was born on 30 June 1861.² She was the daughter of Michael Studholme and Iphigenia Maria Louisa Channon.^1,2 She married Alexander Boyle, son of Vice-Admiral Alexander Boyle and Agnes Walker, on 5 July 1883.¹ She died on 13 May 1930 at age 68.¹
     Her married name became Boyle. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.¹

     Michael Studholme was born on 31 January 1833.¹ He was the son of John Studholme and Elizabeth Nixson. He married Iphigenia Maria Louisa Channon, daughter of Henry Channon, on 18 April 1860.¹ He died on 25 September 1886 at age 53.¹
     He emigrated to New Zealand arriving on 1854.¹ He lived at Waimate, Canterbury, New Zealand^G.¹

     Iphigenia Maria Louisa Channon was born in 1838.² She was the daughter of Henry Channon. She married Michael Studholme, son of John Studholme and Elizabeth Nixson, on 18 April 1860.¹ She died on 4 February 1917.¹
     Her married name became Studholme.
