Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Nicholas John Hill-Norton was born on 13 July 1939.2 He is the son of Admiral Peter John Hill-Norton, Baron Hill-Norton and Margaret Eileen Linstow.1 He married Ann Jennifer Mason, daughter of Vice-Admiral Dennis Howard Mason, on 2 April 1966.2
He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2 He was commissioned in 1957 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.2 He was educated at U.S. Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island, U.S.A.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1991.2 He retired from the military in 1995, with the rank of Vice-Admiral.2 He was with GEC-Marconi between 1995 and 1999.2

Sir Henry Hayes Lawrence, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 February 1864.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Hutchinson Lawrence, 1st Bt. and Alice Eacy Kennedy.2 He married Victoria Margaret Walrond, daughter of Theodore Walrond and Charlotte Elliot Grenfell, on 10 November 1890.1 He died on 27 October 1898 at age 34.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Lawrence, of Lucknow [U.K., 1858] on 27 August 1864.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Dublin in 1891.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.1
