     Dugald Lamont of that Ilk was the son of Archibald Lamont and Mary Stewart.² He married, firstly, Margaret Stuart, daughter of unknown Stuart of Bute.¹ He married, secondly, Mary MacLachlan, daughter of unknown MacLachlan of MacLachlan, before 1723.¹ He died in 1729.¹
     He lived at Stillaig, Scotland.¹ He held the position of Chief of Lamont from in 1712.³

     Margaret Stuart is the daughter of unknown Stuart of Bute.² She married Dugald Lamont of that Ilk, son of Archibald Lamont and Mary Stewart.¹
     Her married name became Lamont.

     Mary MacLachlan is the daughter of unknown MacLachlan of MacLachlan.¹ She married Dugald Lamont of that Ilk, son of Archibald Lamont and Mary Stewart, before 1723.¹

     Lieutenant John Lamont was born illegitimately circa 1670.¹ He was the son of Archibald Lamont of that Ilk.² He married Margaret Lamont, daughter of Dugald Lamont of that Ilk and Margaret Stuart, in 1701.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Army.¹ He lived at Kilfinan, Scotland.¹

     unknown daughter Bourke was the daughter of Reverend George Theobald Bourke and Augusta Georgiana Webster.¹ She died, unmarried.¹

     Archibald Lamont was the son of Sir John Lamont of that Ilk and Mair Campbell.² He died circa 1587.¹
     He was ancestor of the Lamonts of Stillaig.¹
