     Mary Edith Powell was the daughter of John Hardman Powell.² She married Sir John Knill, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Stuart Knill, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Rose Parker, on 18 April 1882.¹ She died on 21 April 1944.¹
     She was awarded the Dame, Order of the Holy Sepulchre and Order of Bene Merenti.¹ From 18 April 1882, her married name became Knill.

     Sir John Stuart Knill, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 April 1886.¹ He was the son of Sir John Knill, 2nd Bt. and Mary Edith Powell.² He married, firstly, Lucy Emmeline Willis, daughter of Captain Thomas Henry Willis, on 22 June 1910.¹ He and Lucy Emmeline Willis were divorced in 1935.¹ He married, secondly, Ruth Evelyn Barnes, daughter of Archibald Barnes, in 1941.¹ He died on 17 April 1973 at age 87.¹
     Sir John Stuart Knill, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Stuart. He was educated at Oratory School, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Machine Gun Corps.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Knill, of The Grove, Blackheath and Fresh Wharf, London [U.K., 1893] on 26 March 1934.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He wrote the book The Pedigree of King Arthur.¹

     Captain Thomas Henry Willis was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He lived at Blackheath, Kent, England.¹

     Lucy Emmeline Willis was the daughter of Captain Thomas Henry Willis.² She married Sir John Stuart Knill, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Knill, 2nd Bt. and Mary Edith Powell, on 22 June 1910.¹ She and Sir John Stuart Knill, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1935.¹ She died on 24 April 1952.¹
     From 22 June 1910, her married name became Knill.

     Sir John Kenelm Stuart Knill, 4th Bt. was born on 8 April 1913.¹ He was the son of Sir John Stuart Knill, 3rd Bt. and Lucy Emmeline Willis.² He married Violette Maude Florence Martin Barnes, daughter of Leonard Martin Barnes, on 5 November 1951.¹ He died on 15 April 1998 at age 85.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Knill, of The Grove, Blackheath and Fresh Wharf, London [U.K., 1893] on 17 April 1973.¹ He was founder of the Association Canal Enterprises in 1982.¹ He was president of Avon Transport 2000.¹ He was a leader in restoring the Kennet and Avon Canal.¹

     Leonard Martin Barnes lived at Durban, Natal, South Africa.¹

     Violette Maude Florence Martin Barnes was the daughter of Leonard Martin Barnes.² She married Sir John Kenelm Stuart Knill, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Stuart Knill, 3rd Bt. and Lucy Emmeline Willis, on 5 November 1951.¹ She died in 1983.¹
     From 5 November 1951, her married name became Knill.

     Anthony North Peat married Gertrude Borrowes, daughter of Robert Borrowes, on 12 August 1858.¹ He died in 1870.²

     Jenkyn Martin Benedict Stuart Knill was born on 19 January 1954.¹ He is the son of Sir John Kenelm Stuart Knill, 4th Bt. and Violette Maude Florence Martin Barnes.² He married Helen Marguerite Gulliver on 25 March 1978.¹
     He lived in 2003 at Longhope, South Stoke, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹
