     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Rector at St. Nicholas’s, Sutton, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Alice von Tunyelman is the daughter of Major unknown von Tunyelman.² She married Reverend George Henry Johnstone, son of John Johnstone and Agnes Hutton, on 9 December 1863.¹

     Louisa Rebecca Johnstone was the daughter of John Johnstone and Agnes Hutton.² She married Humphrey Salwey on 2 December 1847.¹ She died on 25 December 1906.¹

     Anna Johnstone was the daughter of John Johnstone and Agnes Hutton.² She married Richard McGillycuddy, The McGillycuddy of the Reeks, son of Francis McGillycuddy, The McGillicuddy of the Reeks and Catherine Mahony, on 6 November 1849.¹ She died in December 1875.¹
     From 6 November 1849, her married name became McGillycuddy.

     Emma Annie Hewson was the daughter of William Minchin Hewson and Emma Hyde.¹ She married Francis John McGillycuddy, son of Daniel De Courcy McGillycuddy and Lucinda Margaret Morphy, in 1887.¹ She died in 1945.¹
     From 1887, her married name became McGillycuddy.¹

     George Johnstone was born on 1 August 1784.¹ He was the son of Charles John Johnstone and Mary Beddoe.² He married, secondly, Jane Edwards, daughter of Hugh Edwards.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Anne Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, daughter of Sir Richard Vanden-Bempde-Johnstone, 1st Bt. and Margaret Scott, on 4 October 1815.¹ He died on 15 October 1856 at age 72.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 5th Dragoon Guards.¹ He lived at Broncroft Castle.¹
