Sir Thomas Alexander Johnston of Caskieben, 13th Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Alexander Johnston of Caskieben, 13th Bt. was born on 7 September 1916.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Alexander Johnston of Caskieben, 12th Bt. and Pauline Burke Sheldon.2 He married Helen Torrey du Bois, daughter of Benjamin Franklin du Bois, on 16 July 1941.1 He died in 1984.1
     He held the office of Member of the House of Representatives [Alabama] between 1941 and 1949.1 He was partner of Howell, Johnston, Langford and Finkbohner, attorneys.1 He held the office of Member of the State Senate [Alabama] between 1949 and 1954.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 12 April 1959.1
