Sir Thomas Alexander Johnston of Caskieben, 12th Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Alexander Johnston of Caskieben, 12th Bt. was born on 3 May 1888.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Alexander Johnston of Caskieben, 11th Bt. and Mary Ann Norville.2 He married Pauline Burke Sheldon, daughter of Leslie Bragg Sheldon, in 1915.1 He died on 12 April 1959 at age 70.1
     He was a civil engineer.1 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 20 December 1950.1 He retired from the military in 1956, with the rank of Chief, late of the Hydro Power Branch Mobile District, Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army.1
