     Sir Andrew Colin Douglas Jardine, 5th Bt. was born on 30 November 1955.¹ He is the son of Brigadier Sir Ian Liddell Jardine, 4th Bt. and Priscilla Daphne Scott-Phillips.² He married Dr. Claire Vyvien Griffith, daughter of Dr. William Griffith, on 11 October 1997.¹
