Sir David Innes of Coxton, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir James Innes of Coxton, 4th Bt. and Margaret Brodie.2 He died from 8 October 1803 to 9 October 1803, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marines.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Innes, of Coxton, co. Moray [N.S., 1686] on 3 June 1790.1
