     Sarah Hughes was the daughter of Sir Richard Hughes, 1st Bt. and Joanne Collyer.² She died, unmarried.¹

     Gratiana Mangles is the daughter of Thomas Mangles.² She married Rev. Sir Robert Hughes, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Richard Hughes, 1st Bt. and Joanne Collyer.¹
     Her married name became Hughes.

     Rev. Sir Richard Hughes, 4th Bt. was born on 2 June 1768.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir Robert Hughes, 3rd Bt. and Gratiana Mangles.² He married Sarah Perring Sleeman, daughter of Reverend Richard Sleeman, on 8 December 1798.¹ He died on 3 January 1833 at age 64.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Hughes, of East Bergholt, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1773] circa 1 June 1814.¹

     Reverend Richard Sleeman was the Vicar at Tavistock, Devon, England.¹

     Sarah Perring Sleeman was the daughter of Reverend Richard Sleeman.² She married Rev. Sir Richard Hughes, 4th Bt., son of Rev. Sir Robert Hughes, 3rd Bt. and Gratiana Mangles, on 8 December 1798.¹ She died on 15 July 1848.¹
     From 8 December 1798, her married name became Hughes.

     Sir Richard Hughes, 5th Bt. was born on 10 October 1803.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir Richard Hughes, 4th Bt. and Sarah Perring Sleeman.² He died on 16 May 1863 at age 59, unmarried.¹
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hughes, of East Bergholt, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1773] on 3 January 1833.¹

     Sir Edward Hughes, 6th Bt. was born on 31 March 1809.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir Richard Hughes, 4th Bt. and Sarah Perring Sleeman.² He died on 8 August 1871 at age 62, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hughes, of East Bergholt, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1773] on 15 May 1863.¹

     Sarah Catherine Hughes was born circa 1802 at Whitchurch, Devon, England.² She was the daughter of Rev. Sir Richard Hughes, 4th Bt. and Sarah Perring Sleeman.³ She married Reverend Baldwin Francis Leighton, son of Reverend Forester Leighton and Honoria Sarah Barclay, on 8 March 1849.¹ She died on 21 June 1864 at Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.^1,2
     From 8 March 1849, her married name became Leighton.

     Reverend Baldwin Francis Leighton was born on 31 March 1804 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.^2,3 He was the son of Reverend Forester Leighton and Honoria Sarah Barclay.² He married Sarah Catherine Hughes, daughter of Rev. Sir Richard Hughes, 4th Bt. and Sarah Perring Sleeman, on 8 March 1849.¹ He died on 22 December 1880 at age 76 at Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.³
