     Sir Harold Walter Seymour Howard, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of Seymour. He was with the Ministry of Aircraft Production during the Second World War.² He held the office of Sheriff of the City of London in 1944.² He held the office of Alderman of the City of London between 1945 and 1960.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London in 1954.² He was awarded the Knight Commander, Military Order of Christ of Portugal.² He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.) in 1954.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1955.² He was created 1st Baronet Howard, of Great Rissington, co. Gloucester [U.K.] on 1 December 1955.¹

     Edith Maud Turner was the daughter of Edward James Turner.² She married Sir Harold Walter Seymour Howard, 1st Bt., son of William Albert Howard and Elizabeth Mary Seymour, on 10 September 1913.¹ She died on 24 September 1962.¹
     From 10 September 1913, her married name became Howard.

     Sir Hamilton Edward de Coucey Howard, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 October 1915.¹ He was the son of Sir Harold Walter Seymour Howard, 1st Bt. and Edith Maud Turner.² He married Elizabeth Howarth Ludlow, daughter of Major Percy Howarth Ludlow, on 10 July 1943.¹ He died on 16 March 2001 at age 85.¹

He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was member of the London Stock Exchange.² He held the office of Alderman of the City of London.² He held the office of Sheriff of the City of London in 1966.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Howard, of Great Rissington, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1955] on 15 April 1967.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1971 and 1972.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1972.¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1972.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London between 1976 and 1990.¹

     David Seymour de Coucey Howard was born on 5 February 1919.¹ He was the son of Sir Harold Walter Seymour Howard, 1st Bt. and Edith Maud Turner.² He married Jean McMurdo Heywood, daughter of Thomas McMurdo Heywood, on 14 April 1942.¹ He and Jean McMurdo Heywood were divorced in 1949.¹ He died on 29 November 1954 at age 35.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He was educated at Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Jean McMurdo Heywood is the daughter of Thomas McMurdo Heywood.² She married David Seymour de Coucey Howard, son of Sir Harold Walter Seymour Howard, 1st Bt. and Edith Maud Turner, on 14 April 1942.¹ She and David Seymour de Coucey Howard were divorced in 1949.¹
     From 14 April 1942, her married name became Howard.

     Jennifer Anne de Coucey Howard was born in September 1945.¹ She is the daughter of David Seymour de Coucey Howard and Jean McMurdo Heywood.²
