     Julia A. Orme was born in 1840 at Southwark, Surrey, England.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Orme and Eliza Andrews.¹ She married Henry Charles Bastian in 1866 at Hampstead, London, England.¹
     From 1866, her married name became Bastian.¹

     Sir John David Hope of Craighall, 13th Bt. was born on 27 April 1809.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn.² He died on 14 July 1892 at age 83, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Midlothian.¹ He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Hope, of Craighall [N.S., 1628] on 24 January 1883.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fife.²

     Rear-Admiral Thomas Hope was born on 10 July 1810.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn.² He died on 31 August 1867 at age 57.¹

     Hugh Hope was born on 3 June 1813.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn.² He married Catherine Spens, daughter of Lt.-Col. Archibald Spens, 21st of that Ilk and 18th of Lathallan and Charlotte Philip, in 1848.¹ He died on 15 August 1876 at age 63.¹

     Catherine Spens was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Archibald Spens, 21st of that Ilk and 18th of Lathallan and Charlotte Philip.² She married Hugh Hope, son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn, in 1848.¹ She died on 17 March 1875.¹
     From 1848, her married name became Hope.

     General Sir William Hope of Craighall, 14th Bt. was born on 12 January 1819.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn.² He married Alicia Henrietta Wedderburn, daughter of Sir John Wedderburn, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Louisa Milburn, on 22 January 1862.¹ He died on 5 September 1898 at age 79, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Crimean War, with 71st Highlanders.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Hope, of Craighall [N.S., 1628] on 14 July 1892.¹

     Sir John Wedderburn, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 May 1789.² He was baptised on 1 May 1789 at Inchture, Perthshire, Scotland^G.³ He was the son of John Wedderburn and Alice Dundas.² He married Henrietta Louisa Milburn, daughter of William Milburn, on 7 September 1822.² He died on 2 July 1862 at age 73.²
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wedderburn, of Ballindean, Perthshire [U.K., 1803] on 7 April 1858.² He lived at Ballindean, Perthshire, Scotland.²

     Alicia Henrietta Wedderburn was the daughter of Sir John Wedderburn, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Louisa Milburn.² She married General Sir William Hope of Craighall, 14th Bt., son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn, on 22 January 1862.¹ She died on 19 June 1901.¹
     From 22 January 1862, her married name became Hope.

     James Wedderburn Hope was born on 4 September 1823.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hope of Craighall, 11th Bt. and Anne Wedderburn.² He died on 9 June 1846 at age 22.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 26th Bombay Native Infantry.¹
