     Marjorie Lucy Selby-Lowndes was born circa 1878 at Aspley Guise, Bedfordshire, England.² She was the daughter of William Selby-Lowndes and Jessie Mary Worrall.¹ She married Geoffrey William Selby-Lowndes, son of Richard William Selby-Lowndes and Elizabeth Frances Howard, on 23 April 1903.¹

     W/Cdr. Geoffrey Howard William Selby-Lowndes was born on 23 February 1904.¹ He was the son of Geoffrey William Selby-Lowndes and Marjorie Lucy Selby-Lowndes.¹ He married Hazel B. D. Hinge in November 1939.¹ He died on 8 February 1979 at age 74 at Wendover, Buckinghamshire, England^G.²
     He was educated between February 1918 and March 1920 at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Trooper in 1922 in the 2nd Life Guards.² He gained the rank of Flying Officer in 1925 in the Royal Air Force.² He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in 1939 in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.² He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in 1942.² He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.)¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹ He lived in 1976 at Battam’s Close, Row Brickhill, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
