     Edward Graham, 2nd Viscount Preston was born circa 1679.1 He was the son of Richard Graham, 1st Viscount Preston and Lady Ann Howard.1 He married Mary Dalton, daughter of Sir Marmaduke Dalton, on 5 January 1702/3.1 He died in 1710.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Graham, of Esk, Cumberland [E., 1629] on 22 December 1695.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Graham of Esk [S., 1681] on 22 December 1695.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Graham [S., 1681] on 22 December 1695.1 In August 1696 he had the forfeited estates restored.1 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

     Mary Cox was the daughter of Thomas Cox.1 She married Charles Mordaunt, 4th Earl of Peterborough, son of John Mordaunt, Lord Mordaunt and Lady Frances Powlett, before 1735.1 She died on 18 November 1755, without male issue.1
     From before 1735, her married name became Mordaunt.1 After her marriage, Mary Cox was styled as Countess of Peterborough on 25 October 1735.

     Charles Mordaunt, 4th Earl of Peterborough was born circa 12 October 1708.1 He was the son of John Mordaunt, Lord Mordaunt and Lady Frances Powlett.1,2 He married, firstly, Mary Cox, daughter of Thomas Cox, before 1735.1 He married, secondly, Robiniana Browne, daughter of Colonel unknown Browne, on 5 December 1755.1 He died on 1 August 1779.1
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.1 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Peterborough, co. Northampton [E., 1628] on 25 October 1735.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Mordaunt [E., 1532] on 25 October 1735.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Monmouth [E., 1689] on 25 October 1735.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Mordaunt of Avalon, co. Somerset [E., 1659] on 25 October 1735.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Mordaunt of Ryegate, co. Surrey [E., 1659] on 25 October 1735.1
