Charles Henry Tufton and Stella Josephine Faudel Faudel-Phillips.² He married Joyce Eileen Clare Goschen, daughter of Sir Edward Henry Goschen, 2nd Bt. and Mary Danneskjold-Samsöe, on 10 September 1942.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (S) in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers’ Decoration (V.R.D.)² He was awarded the Knight, Order of Dannebrog in 1946.² He was solicitor.² He lived in 2003 at Church Farm House, Clothall, Baldock, Hertfordshire, England.²
